Where I appreciate the thrust of this article and am glad the left is asking dems to embrace this idea... their perception of Trumps base is way off.

We want a secure border plain and simple.  We want it solved.  We do not wish this to continue being a problem.  To achieve that, we are fine with allowing Dreamers to stay.

This was why Trump was put in place, to make deals like this.  We understand some things need to be given up to get others.
