Every American needs a gun

It is um-American not to own a gun to protect your self and your family.
                   Do not let them take away your right to own a gun.
                   Do not let them take away the right to buy the gun of your choice.
                   Guns do not kill. People do.

The ease of availability of guns makes it simpler for bad people to kill other people. We should get rid of the guns and pave a way for peace between people in the United States.

The government isn't going to hurt you when your guns are taken away. It's a baseless fear. And if there are no guns, then you don't need to worry about others using them against you.

There is nothing more Un-American than remaining in the past where you think the only way to protect yourself is by being armed. We live in a more civilized era.

Yea and we should also outlaw bombs like the series of ones that went off in Texas!! Bombs need to be outlawed.

Wait... They are already outlawed and they were still used to kill people?? But I dont understand, they are outlawed right? So how were they used as a weapon against others? Hmm guess if they are outlawed only outlaws will have them... mind blown.

According to the President of the United States of America Donald trump " The only thing that stops a Bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun " . Most people that would use a gun for mass murder do it in the moment. Someone that makes a bomb is methodical and has real rage.

Using the argument that bombs can take the place of a gun is stupid. Plus, the chances of a kid using bombs effectively in a school where they can inflict just as much damage as an assault rifle is ridiculous. No kid has successfully killed a mass number of people inside of a school in the US. This argument doesn't stand.

No, when the gun is easy access, kids will run on their impulses- same with gangs. We can't do anything about the adults that go to great lengths to get weapons that are illegal. But we can school shootings and then hope that reduces everything.

Gun Violence is an acceptable part of American society. The President will say the correct thing that we are sorry for your loss. The Congress and Senate will agree with everyone that something must be done about gun violence but when it comes time to do what needs to be done they fail miserably.

Dragonmaster,

Trump is already advising Congress to look at doing something for a change. Something already has come from this incident that did not come out of previous incidents. You never know when change will strike.

For all you know, in November we will have a shift in Congress to a much larger Democratic representation that will be all that is needed for that shift to occur. Just you watch.

It's about the platform. Obama never addressed the issue of gun control as Trump has either. Nor has the US been in more of an uproar as they are today with the kids standing up.

Keep calling people who own guns bad people or making the claim that someone who is not a gun owner somehow loves children more then a gun owner, look forward to civil war.

This is bullshit. I have never heard anyone say that owning a gun makes a person a bad person or they love children any less than any one else. The real issue how do we keep guns out of the hands of people that should never have a gun under any circumstances.

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Now this does say you have the right to bare arms but it does not say you have the right to have access to buy any and all arms that are manufactured. I see no reason that laws can not be passed to limit the types of arms that may be purchased.

A our local 'March for our lives" they erected a sign which stated, "You can have our guns when you pry them from the hands of my cold dead childrens fingers".

Statements have gone all over the media along this line of gun owners love their guns more then children.

This is labeling someone a bad person... as well as stating they love our children more then we who own guns.

So the only bullshit is your lack of knowledge of the subject.

Well I never said I was an expert about American society and the gun culture. Seeing I am not an American and hope to never by an American. If for some reason I am forced into being an American, so be it and I will have a choice to make at that time.
Secondly I do not care to spend a hell of a lot of time searching American news sites or quoting them.
Thirdly I said what I had experienced which is not bullshit as it is true for me. I did not say it was what everyone experienced.

I do not trust the United states of America. I do believe if the united States of America needs our resources bad enough it will invade us and take over our country. Last time I passed through your country on my way home. I was welcomed home by your immigration officer and I found that totally weird as he pulled us out of the general lineup as we were Canadians carrying Canadian passports. We were directed to the line up for Americans only and processed using automated machines, which I did appreciate.

Canada would do no less. If it was desperate and had the power and the US was not cooperating it would invade the US to get what it required. This is nothing more than human nature. The difference is that the US would never leave Canada in a bad way. They are an ally and the US would provide aid to its neighbor.
